The Bloomfield Hills Department of Public Safety is proud to partner with the DEA for National Prescription Take Back Day!

🗓 Saturday, October 25th, 2025
🕙 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
📍 45 E. Long Lake Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304

Do you have old, unused, or expired prescription medications at home? Bring them in for safe, anonymous disposal — no questions asked. This free event helps prevent medication misuse and keeps harmful substances out of our community and environment.

✅ Accepted:
🟢 Pills, capsules, and tablets in a sealed ziploc bag.

🚫 Not Accepted:
❌ Syringes or sharps
❌ Illicit substances
❌Liquids

Let’s work together to make Bloomfield Hills safer. Clean out your medicine cabinets and stop by on October 25!

Voters can participate through any one of the following options:
-Absentee Ballot: available beginning September 25, 2025
-Early Voting at City Hall (10/29/25-11/2/25 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
-Election Day:
Precinct #1 - City Hall 45 E. Long Lake Road
Precinct #2 - Kingsley Hotel Banquet Room 39475 Woodward Ave.

PLEASE NOTE: Precinct #2 Location has changed. If you previously voted at the Congregational Church of Birmingham on Cranbrook Road, your new polling location is at The Kingsley Hotel.

Saturday, October 28th, is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Add this to your fall organization and drop off unused or expired medication for safe disposal at the Bloomfield Hills Public Safety Department from 10am - 2pm. If you can't make it that day, our dropbox is available in the vestibule 24/7/365. We are unable to accept sharps, liquids, or aerosols.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: East Long Lake will be closed this weekend (11/9-11/10) at Bloomfield Hills Pkwy due to road repairs. Alternate routes are advised; Hickory Grove/Kensington and Quarton.
