Visit our September Art Exhibit featuring artist Qinghong Wei, PhD. Her dreamy watercolors are so vibrant and full of charm!

Here's a little more about our artist from her bio:

"Qinghong Wei, PhD, is an artist, teacher, and regenerative farmer living on a little mountain farm in Hayesville, North Carolina. She has found in watercolor a pathway to cultivating inner light, and her paintings have brought moments of peace, tenderness, and heartwarming joy to people local and afar. Her solo exhibition, Light Within, invites viewers on a watercolor journey into luminosity, sacred aliveness, and the profound connections between living beings."

Here's another peek into our library Guest Book:

"I LOVE UCPL! The building itself is so beautiful and inviting, accessible. The outstanding staff is so friendly and helpful, taking such good care of us and our requests. It's such an active library, important to this community. So many worthwhile programs, activities for children, colorful artwork, reading and writing clubs. I'm amazed at how quickly the books and requests are coming to me on hold."

Thanks, M. M. - we truly appreciate your kind comments on our staff and library! 🩷
