❤️ When cardiac arrest happens, every second matters.
As captured by this recent “CPR Needed” alert, Blair’s growing network of responders and registered AEDs is helping strengthen the safety net of survival throughout our community.
📍 In the image, the red responder icons represent PulsePoint Registered or Pro Responders, individuals with specific credentials who are associated with participating organizations such as hospitals, law enforcement agencies, and other response partners.
But you do not have to be a professional responder to help.
📱 Anyone can download the FREE PulsePoint Respond app and become a Public Responder. Public Responders can receive “CPR Needed” notifications when a cardiac arrest occurs in a nearby public location.
Receiving an alert does not obligate you to respond. But if you are nearby and choose to help, you could make a critical difference before emergency responders arrive. Once with the patient, 911 dispatchers can help guide you through assessing the patient and performing chest compressions when needed.
⚡ You can also help strengthen Blair’s AED network! Download the PulsePoint AED app to submit AED locations so they can be added to the registry and available when someone needs one most.
❤️ Download PulsePoint. Stay aware. Be ready to help.
A stronger, safer Blair starts with all of us.
