This is one of the most popular sessions offered each year by the PGCPS Department of Family and School Partnerships. Prince George's County Public Schools, and partners such as Prince George's County Memorial Library System, offer an abundance of resources each summer.

Tune in to learn about the new experiential learning “Read Across PGCPS” to earn points for time reading, and to learn about the many cultural, historical, and higher education sites to visit this summer — something for all grade levels!

🎓🎓 The Class of 2026 Northwestern High School Wildcats have turned the tassels!! Congratulations!!

Highlights of the Class of 2026 Wildcats:
💲 Earned more than $7.2 million in scholarships!
🏅 32 students earned the Seal of Biliteracy, honoring the power of language, culture, and identity.
⚓️ Northwestern’s Navy JROTC 22 cadets in the Class of 2026 completed 15,775 service hours, with eight cadets choosing to serve in the United States Armed Forces.
🎭 🎹 🎤🎶🎻🎨 Northwestern’s Jim Henson Visual And Performing Arts Program at Northwestern High School program students achieved a 100% graduation rate, earned $2.31 million in scholarships, and saw 99% of VPA students enroll in college after graduation, with the majority majoring in the arts.
