🚨 WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION & BOIL ORDER NOTICE 🚨
City of Blackwater Residents:

Please be advised that water service will be turned off at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, for necessary water system work.

💧 Water service is expected to be interrupted for approximately 2 hours.

Once water service is restored, a Boil Order will be in effect. Residents should boil water before using it for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or other consumption until the boil order has been lifted.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation while this work is completed.

During severe weather and tornado warnings, residents may seek shelter at this location.

Exciting new event this summer! On July 11th & 12th the town will be turned into the Blackwater Redemption Experience with reenactors, gun fights, vendors, live music, and much more! The town of Blackwater in the game Red Dead Redemption really was inspired by our little town! Fans of the game will especially enjoy this event, but it will be fun for the whole family even if you've never heard of the game. Get your tickets and start planning your costumes now!
