Blackville is located in Barnwell County, along the SC Heritage Corridor.

Visitors may enjoy the Region 3 Discovery Center, with hands-on features highlighting the region's connection to the railroad and agricultural industries and giving a historical background on Bamberg, Barnwell, Orangeburg, and Aiken Counties. g Springs, where locals and tourists stop to fill their water bottles. Blackville is also home to a small Mennonite community. One of the Mennonite families runs Miller's Bread Basket, a popular restaurant on Blackville's Main Street.
