Our committee is saddened to learn of John Eldridge’s passing. We send our sincere condolences to the Eldridge family. John has been an intricate part of the Memorial Day events in this town for many years. From many speeches during the days when the town just had a parade until when this committee was formed, he was one of the first to be appointed and helped expand the day to the event now held in Roosevelt park. He will surely be missed, but never forgotten.

A big thank you to Unibank for sponsoring this year's Memorial Day Parade on Sunday May 28th. Parade will begin at 1pm and conclude with a ceremony at Town Hall honoring our fallen heroes who fought for our freedoms.
Come down to see the Shriners, local marching bands including our own BMR band, Captain America who brought along some of his superhero friends, Princesses, and a Pirate and much more.
Behind Town Hall on Rosevelt Park there will be local vendors, food, a carnival, live entertainment, and Grand fireworks display to conclude the day's events.
Don't miss out, stop by our booth on the field for the Golf Ball Drop scheduled for 6:30 pm. Balls are 1 for $5 and 3 for $10, 3 lucky people will be receiving one of 3 cash awards with a hole in one or closest to the hole.

We will be selling tickets for our golf ball drop fundraiser this Saturday from noon to 4pm. We will be at Blackstone Parks and Recreation earth day event located at JFK/AFM school - Goulet Park. 200 Lincoln Street.
