Just a reminder, if you received a personal property form in the mail in January from our office it is due by Friday, May 1st. The forms are ONLY sent to businesses, owners of singlewides and airplanes. Also, any mileage updates are due by Friday also. To qualify for the mileage discount your vehicle will need to have over 100,000 or 130,000 as of January 1, 2026. We will not take any mileage after May 1st. If your form is received after May 1st, you will be assessed a late file penalty. As long as it's postmarked for the 1st or emailed to [email protected] by end of the day May 1st, it will not be considered late.

I am sorry for the late notice:

All business license renewal applications (due by March 1) have been mailed as well as the personal property forms (due by May 1) for aircraft, singlewides and businesses. If you receive a form for a utility trailer that you own, you do not need to send that back to us. If you got rid of a utility trailer in 2025 and it had permanent tags, please make sure you have notified DMV that you have sold it, chances are if you let the permanent tag go with the trailer they are still on that trailer and when we do our DMV upload that trailer will still be in your name. We will then need proof that you sold it to remove it for this year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Our office will reopen on Monday, January 5 at 8:30 am.

We will be closed Wednesday December 24-26. We will reopen on Monday December 29th. We will close at 12 PM on Wednesday December 31st and are closed on January 1, 2026.

This is a change, we will be closed today. I will be checking my emails periodically during the day. Don't forget, if you go out and need to drop something off for my office or the Treasurers office we both have drop boxes at the back door. The deadline for paying your taxes without penalty has been extended until Wednesday, December 10th. Per the Treasurer.
I understand this may be an inconvenience for some, but safety 1st. Enjoy your day and be safe.
