Black River Falls Fire and EMS were paged to County Rd O and I94 for a vehicle fire. While enroute to the scene crews were advised the car was fully engulfed. Crews arrived and extinguished the fire. No injuries reported. All crews cleared at 6:50am.

Today, we had the honor escorting Aidan, Mason and Olivia out of town on their way to Lacrosse to participate in State Track and Field! Congratulations to all!

Fire up the Tiger pride because we're officially La Crosse-bound!
Our track and field athletes absolutely electrified the meet at Sectionals, securing their spots at the WIAA State Championships while shattering school records along the way.

Let's celebrate our phenomenal State Qualifiers:

Aidan Krista: Sectional Champion! Aidan captured the Sectional Title in shot put with a massive 59’7” throw—a personal record and a brand-new school record, winning the event by a clear 3 feet! He also locked in his second State spot in the discus, placing 2nd with a PR throw of 165’4”, breaking his own previous school record.

Mason Miemann: Mason left it all on the track, punching his ticket to State with an incredible 2nd-place finish in the 400m dash, clocking a blistering personal record of 49.95 seconds.

Olivia Larkin: Olivia soared to new heights, earning 3rd place in the high jump. Her leap of 5’4” earned her a spot at State, a new personal record, and a spectacular new school record!

The 2026 State Track & Field Championships take place this Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6, right down the road at the Veterans Memorial Stadium Complex in La Crosse. We're so incredibly proud of the grit, heart, and joy these athletes bring to our district. Let's pack the stands in La Crosse and show the whole state what Tiger pride is all about!

What great morning!! BRF Fire and EMS Crew are on standby at Jackson in Action Pace and Pedal Event at Lake Wazee.

On May 15, 2026, at 2:34 p.m., Jackson County Dispatch paged Black River Falls Fire and EMS for a rollover accident involving one vehicle on Interstate 94 at Mile Marker 113 westbound.

Upon arrival crews found the vehicle had left the roadway, rolling and coming to rest in a tree-lined area. The individual involved received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.

Units on scene were Engine 11, Rescue 11, and Battalion 1.

Other agencies on scene were Wisconsin State Patrol, Jackson County Sheriff's Department, and JD's Towing.

The scene was cleared at 4:00pm.
