We are deeply concerned about the recent attempt on President Trump’s life at the Butler, Pennsylvania rally on July 13, 2024. This attack, in which President Trump was lightly wounded, is a stark reminder of the constant threats faced by our leaders. The incident resulted in the death of the perpetrator and a rally attendee, while another individual remains in critical condition
Republicans, we stand united in condemning this violent act and reaffirm our commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our elected officials. Our prayers are with President Trump and all those affected by this senseless violence. This event underscores the importance of robust security measures to protect our leaders from such heinous acts.
