Our Chief is right, all the fire departments in the county need help. We’ve heard all the excuses. I can’t commit to (fill in the blank), I’m not always available, I’m too young/old, I don’t know anything about it. They are just excuses. We are all volunteers. We can when we can and we can’t when we can’t.

This is an incredible job you get paid for in ways that aren’t money. If you’ve ever thought about it, contact the VFD in your area. The hardest part, is walking through that station door the first time.

We all live in the communities we serve. How can you make a difference?

In honor of Firefighter Ken Lemanski
We are asking the town of Cascade to put out RED!! Lights, window covers, Red flag whatever you want to do to show your support of the past service of the fallen firefighters that are being recognized for their service.
Join us at the Cascade Firehall on Friday May 5, 2023 from 6pm-8pm to visit with CVFD members, get pictures with fire trucks and enjoy cookies and drinks in honor of Ken Lemanski and his service to Cascade Fire and I-15 QRU.
