Notice of Pool Closure: The outdoor pool will be closed today, Saturday, June 13th. Meanwhile, the S.A.H.B.S. Aquatic and Recreation Center remains operational until 6:00 pm, offering access to water slides, lazy river, and gymnasium facilities. Located at 900 29th St S.

🌟 Hero of the Day! 🌟
One of our seasonal Park Laborers, Jim Banks, went above and beyond while working in one of our parks. Jim found a wallet that had been dropped by a park visitor and immediately turned it in so we could help locate its owner.

What Jim didn't know was that the owner, Jason, was calling around trying to find his missing wallet before catching a flight back to Virginia. Thanks to Jim's quick action, we were able to reunite Jason with his wallet just in the nick of time for his trip home.

Thank you, Jim, for demonstrating the kind of integrity and customer service that makes our parks and community great. Outstanding job! 👏

Park Maintenance District Project:

Tuesday, June 9th the Elks Riverside Asphalt Trail will be closed for maintenance. Please avoid the workers and equipment. Regular maintenance extends the life of the path for several more years and keeps it safe and enjoyable for everyone. This is your Park District funding at work.

Today's activities are in full swing at Great Falls Park and Recreation, with the Electric City Water Park commencing its season from 12-6 pm and the Cochrane Dam crossing scheduled until 3 pm. Don't miss AJ at the south shore fix-it station.

Neighborhood Pool and Splash Pad Opening Update

Great Falls, Montana - Great Falls Park & Recreation announces that the opening of the Neighborhood Pool Splash Pads has been rescheduled. The splash pads, previously scheduled to open on June 6, will now open alongside the Neighborhood Pool on Friday, June 13, 2026.

This adjustment will allow staff additional time to complete final preparations and ensure both facilities are ready to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors.

We appreciate the community's patience and understanding and look forward to welcoming everyone for the summer season beginning June 13.

While residents wait for the Neighborhood Pool and Splash Pad to open, there are still opportunities to cool off around town:
• The Electric City Water Park opens for the season on June 6, 2026 and will be open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• The Lions Park Splash Pad is currently open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is free to the public.
