🦆☀️ Our Panthers and their ducks have been busy this week!

From beach trips, pool days, splash parks, and lake adventures to wildfire exploration, library visits, reading books, walking the dog, making the bed, cleaning rooms, playing on playgrounds, and racing down slip-and-slides, our students are making the most of summer while earning points in the Duck Adventure Challenge. We’ve even had ducks visit Great Wolf Lodge, make peach cobbler, and create mini pizzas!

We love seeing our Panthers learning, helping at home, exploring, and making memories. Keep those photos coming—we can’t wait to see what adventures next week brings! 🐾📸🦆

What a fantastic day celebrating an incredible school year at Lee Woodard Elementary! 🎉

Our staff enjoyed delicious Burrito Shak, ice cream sundaes, fun staff awards, and a special word art project highlighting the qualities and impact of each team member through words shared by their colleagues. Staff members chose their ducks for our Summer Duck Challenge. We also took time to celebrate our K-5 assessment successes and reflect on the tremendous growth and achievements of our students this year.

While we are excited for summer, we also shared heartfelt goodbyes with staff members who are moving on to new adventures. They will be greatly missed, and we are grateful for the positive impact they have made on our school family.

Thank you to our amazing staff for your dedication, hard work, and commitment to our students. Together, we made this a year to remember!

🦆☀️ The Summer Duck Adventure Challenge is officially underway!

Our first duck photo has arrived! Sebastian has earned his first 5 points with a Summer Fun Adventure picture at the beach! 🏖️🌊 Great job, Sebastian!

Check out the points flyer to see all the ways students can earn points this summer through reading, math, science, social studies, acts of kindness, family adventures, and more. We can’t wait to see where your ducks travel and what you learn along the way!

What a wonderful way to end the school year! Over the past three days, we have celebrated our students during our Awards Day ceremonies, recognizing both academic achievements and special area successes. We are incredibly proud of the growth, determination, and hard work our students have shown throughout the year.

Thank you to our families, staff, and community for supporting our students every step of the way. We wish everyone a safe, fun, and relaxing summer break. We can’t wait to see what our Panthers accomplish next year! 🐾💜

Our school is EOG READY! 💜📚✏️

Today we kicked off testing season with an amazing EOG parade and sidewalk chalk encouragement to remind our 3rd-5th graders just how capable, smart, and prepared they are! The sidewalks were filled with positive messages, and the energy was contagious.

A huge shoutout to our K-2 students for doing such a great job cheering on and pumping up our test-takers! Their encouragement, excitement, and support made the day extra special. 🥳👏

We are proud of all of our students and the hard work they’ve put in all year. Now it’s time to shine, do their best, and show what they know! 🌟

Day 5 — the final day of Teacher Appreciation Week — was the perfect ending to an amazing week! 🍩🌸

A huge thank you to Chaquita Hunter, one of our wonderful parents, for the beautiful pinwheels for our staff! Thank you as well to our incredible PTO for the yummy donuts.

Day 4 of Teacher Appreciation Week has been another great day! 🍓🥯👕

Our staff was surprised with awesome t-shirts from our PTO — we can’t wait to wear them tomorrow for pictures! A huge thank you to one of our amazing parents, Amber Stroud, for providing delicious bagels and fruit for our staff. We also enjoyed fresh strawberries as a sweet treat!

We are so grateful for everyone helping make our teachers and staff feel appreciated this week! 💛
