🤖🏆 Congratulations to four members of the BMS Robotics team, “Microsoft Support,” who were honored today with an official citation from the Oklahoma House of Representatives for their dedication, commitment, and academic excellence!

These students recently placed Top 5 in the WORLD at the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship, competing against more than 420 teams from 55 countries — a first for any team from Oklahoma!

Their achievement was recognized by Representative Chris Banning on behalf of the Oklahoma State Legislature.

So many of the amazing things that happen at BMS simply wouldn’t be possible without Kelli’s hard work and dedication. From attendance to helping make Teacher Appreciation Week extra special, she does countless things behind the scenes every single day to support our students and staff.

We are so proud of two of our talented BMS students who placed in a statewide writing competition and were honored today at an awards ceremony at the State Capitol! ✍️🏛️

What an incredible moment to watch them read their own writing in front of state legislators before receiving their medals and certificates. Their hard work, creativity, and courage made our school proud!

BMS Drones represented in a big way at the regional tournament this past weekend in El Paso, Texas! 🚁💙
The first-ever “Desert Sky” South Central Middle School Aerial Drone Championship took place May 8–9, 2026, at the Starlight Event Center. Hosted by Clint ISD, the major regional competition featured 49 middle school teams showcasing their skills in coding, piloting, teamwork, and STEM innovation.
We are proud of our Spartans for competing at such a high level and representing Bixby Middle School with excellence!
