Today marks 25 years since the attacks on September 11, 2001.

2,977 people were killed as a result of the attacks.

2,753 in New York
184 at the Pentagon
40 aboard Flight 93

343 FDNY firefighters
23 NYPD officers
37 Port Authority Police officers

The victims ranged in age from 2 to 85 years old and came from more than 90 nations.

Thousands more suffered injuries and health complications.

Please join us in taking some time to reflect on the tragedy that took place that day and say a prayer for the victims, the survivors, and their families.

Governor Kelly Armstrong has ordered that flags be flown at half mast on Friday in memory of the victims of the September 11th, 2001, attacks.
Friday will mark the 25th anniversary of that tragic and fateful day in American history.

“Twenty-five years ago, our country was attacked by an enemy who wanted to destroy us and everything we stand for. In the quarter-century that followed, we have faced this attack on our values, our freedom and our fellow citizens with strength and resiliency, fueled by the indomitable American spirit,” Armstrong said. “We will never forget the victims of those unspeakable acts, the heroes who died trying to save them, and the military members who have laid down their lives in the Global War on Terror. And we offer our prayers and support for their loved ones who continue to bear the scars of that loss.”
