Unfortunately the 8th grade night for Softball was canceled due to weather.
That did not stop them from making the best of the situation and still meeting on the field with teammates, coaches and family to take a few pictures.

Congratulations to Alayna Smally, 8th Grade Student of the Month.
Despite being new to BHJH this year, Alayna is already starting the year off right. She comes to class prepared every day, and she always puts in 100% effort. She asks questions when she needs help, and even asks questions for her peers who don’t want to raise their hands. She is polite and always willing to help people.

Congratulations to Conner Musson, 7th Grade Student of the Month.
Conner is very engaged in all his classes. He constantly raises his hand to participate in class and engage with the teacher’s lesson. He is very polite to his teachers and his peers. He takes great pride in doing quality academic work, and this is reflected in his current grades. He also goes out of his way to help other students who may be struggling. We are proud of the student he is!

Jaxson is a quiet leader who consistently meets expectations, treats others with kindness and respect, and can be counted on to be ready for class all day. Jaxson is a polite kid who can easily get along with any of his classmates. Each day, he gives his best effort and demonstrates a positive attitude towards learning. We are proud of his dedication and the wonderful example he sets for his classmates.

Arexson Stonewall- A friend of Arexson’s did not have PE shoes & Arexson had an extra pair in his locker and he let his friend borrow them. Mrs. Dale
Loghan Packard- Loghan stayed after class to help clean up and organize the room. Ms. Lane
Charley Reynolds- Charley noticed a student in class was left out when reading in the comfy chairs and gave him her seat. Mr. O’Connell
Kaden Showers- Kaden held the door open for all the staff and students after Blue Hour. Thank you, Kaden ! Mrs. West
Braxton Hall- Braxton helped Mrs. Pierotti with morning work. Mrs. Pierotti
Payton Bainbridge- Payton picked up someone’s trash in the hallway that was not hers and threw it away. Payton also cleaned up a water spill in Mrs. Dale’s room. Mrs. Brumett
Cleo Sollars- Mr. Warren saw Cleo find and return another student’s lost flower necklace during Blue Hour. Mr. Warren
Conner Musson- Conner went out of his way to help a classmate stay on task and guide them when taking notes. Ms. Lane
Drew Slavik- Drew goes out of his way everyday to help others in class. Ms. Lane
