Use your Summer EBT benefits before they expire!

Earliest issued benefits will expire Sept. 25.

Summer EBT provides $120 per eligible school‑age child to help families buy groceries when school meals aren’t available. Eligible families received an EBT card in the mail. Benefits expire 122 days after they’re issued. Expiration dates vary and expired benefits cannot be replaced.

Emergency preparedness looks different in North Dakota.

We're a state with a large geographic area and a relatively sparse population. That means emergency response can't rely on every community having every resource it might need.

Instead, North Dakota has built a statewide approach to emergency preparedness, bringing communities, healthcare organizations, emergency responders and other partners together so resources and support can reach where they're needed.

It's one way we meet the unique challenges of our state: by working together across the miles.

When Megan Larson welcomed her twins, Caden and Micah, she had no idea how quickly newborn screening would change everything. The boys were diagnosed with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) a condition that can become critical without early treatment. Thanks to early screening, the Larson family had answers right away and could give both boys the care they needed from day one.
