Marketing Education teacher, Don Fry, from Mandan High School was recently named the Lignite Energy Council's Kids Choice Award: Teacher Edition Teacher of the Year. Mr. Fry’s former and current students applied the marketing skills they learned in his classroom to support his nomination. They created a campaign that included yard signs, social media promotion, and a digital billboard to encourage votes.

Their efforts demonstrate the real-world impact of CTE programs and the lasting influence our teachers have on students.

CTE Highlight: Technology and Engineering! ⚙️

Both Minot North High School and Minot High School have active and successful Technology Student Association (TSA) organizations. Students consistently compete at the state conference, and both schools have produced State Officers, showcasing the strong leadership skills being developed right here in Minot Public Schools.

FBLA students at New Rockford-Sheyenne Public School hosted a successful spaghetti supper supported by strong community partnerships and local business contributions.
