How's your food safety knowledge? Do you know how to thaw food safely?

Improper thawing before cooking and improper cooling after cooking are ongoing food safety issues. Bacteria can multiply rapidly when food is thawed at room temperature or held too long in the temperature danger zone.

Test your thawing knowledge in the newest Prairie Fare article >>> https://www.ag.ndsu.edu/news/columns/prairie-fare/prairie-fare-whats-for-dinner-start-with-safe-thawing
