Bismarck Public Schools Foundation

Bismarck Public Schools Foundation Our mission is to partner with the BPS District to empower every learner to thrive by enhancing the services and recognition of students and staff.

The Bismarck Public Schools Foundation (BPSF) was established in 1989 by the Bismarck School Board. The Bismarck School Board created a board of directors for the foundation to generate funds and other gifts for the school district. In 2003 the BPSF obtained its 501 (c)(3) status as a tax exempt organization. Donors may deduct contributions to the BPSF as provided in section 170 of the tax code. Bequests, legacies, devises, transfers and gifts to the BPSF for its use are deductible for federal, estate and gift tax purposes if they meet the provisions of the tax code.

Choose a school. Choose a purpose. Make a difference.

Your donation to the Bismarck Public Schools Foundation is an opportunity to invest directly in the students and staff who make our schools special.

When you give, you can select the BPS school you’d like to support and choose how you’d like your gift to contribute, from student experiences and classroom needs to teacher appreciation, library resources, student recognition and more.

Every school has unique needs and opportunities. Your generosity helps provide resources and experiences that go beyond what is possible through the regular school budget.

💙 Support the school that means something to you.

A HUGE thank you to Legacy United Methodist Church for raising over $2,800 for Meal Debt Reduction! This donation is so appreciated, and we are grateful for your continued support!

WOW, Legacy community, we are blown away by your extravagant generosity! 💙

Because of you, we raised $2,895 for our August Impact Offering. It will be given to the Bismarck Public Schools Foundation to support their efforts of reducing student meal debt in Bismarck Public Schools, making sure every child can focus on learning and not whether they can afford a meal.

Thank you for helping us be a Community of Impact! 🫶
