Today was all about giving back to those who give so much to our community.

We were honored to deliver lunches to more than 400 local first responders and thank them personally for their dedication and service. The passing of Commissioner Sjoberg is a loss for our community. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who knew him.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of City Commissioner Craig Sjoberg.

Sjoberg took office July 1, 2024, and was a passionate, caring, diligent, and veracious leader.

City staff and leaders are heartbroken. Our thoughts and prayers are with Commissioner Sjoberg’s wife Pudge, son Jesse, and all his family and friends
