We Remember. Today, we join Americans across the country in remembrance of Patriot Day.
On September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks claimed 2,996 lives across four coordinated strikes in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Throughout the day, six moments of silence mark the events as they unfolded. We hope you will join us, along with others across the country, in pausing to remember.
Moments of Silence (all times Eastern Daylight Time)
8:46 a.m. — North Tower of the World Trade Center was attacked
9:03 a.m. — South Tower of the World Trade Center was attacked
9:37 a.m. — The Pentagon was attacked
9:59 a.m. — South Tower collapsed
10:03 a.m. — Flight 93 crashed near Shanksville, PA

We remember the victims and honor the courage of the first responders.
