Crochet Stars Workshop

Learn to make a galaxy of crochet stars with artist Amanda Banks! In this three-hour workshop, Banks will teach you everything you need to know about making crochet stars, including the five foundational crochet stitches, how to work in the round, and how to finish a project. Amanda Banks is an artist and research professional based in Huntsville, Alabama. Her practice merges a multidisciplinary education in engineering, global business, and textiles to create thought-provoking work about labor and care. Amanda is a 2026 South Arts Emerging Traditional Artist, VP of Special Projects for the Alabama Women’s Caucus for Art, and Craft Yarn Council certified instructor with more than 30 years of crochet experience.
