Last day, best day — Samapalooza Youth Camp 2026 has officially come to a close, and our hearts are so full! 💛💛💛

This week was filled with laughter, friendship, music, camp traditions, and moments that reminded us just how special this community truly is. 🫶

For many of our campers, camp is more than just a week away. It’s a place where they feel understood, supported, celebrated, and free to simply be kids.

To our counselors, volunteers, medical staff, donors, and supporters: THANK YOU! 🙏 Your time, generosity, and care helped make Youth Camp possible.

Thank you for helping us continue to provide hope, healing, and love throughout camp season! 💛💛💛

This may look like a group of camp counselors, but it’s so much more.

Every person in this photo is either a childhood cancer survivor or sibling. They once came to camp looking for hope, friendship, and understanding. Now they’ve returned to give those same gifts to children who are on the same journey.

Their resilience is inspiring. Their stories are powerful. Their willingness to serve is a reminder that hope grows when it’s shared.

They are living proof that there is life, joy, and purpose beyond cancer. We are incredibly proud to have them leading the way. 💛

Day One of Samapalooza Youth Camp is officially in the books! ☀️
 
If you didn’t know, this year’s summer camps are themed SAMAPALOOZA—a music-fest themed camp encouraging campers to turn up the volume and rock! 🤘
 
From games and activities to laughter, new friendships, and unforgettable moments, our campers are already making memories that will last far beyond camp. 🫶
 
We can’t wait for all the fun still ahead this week! 💛 Make sure to stay tuned for more camp moments!

From new friendships and nonstop laughter to meaningful connections and unforgettable moments, this weekend was filled with so much joy and fun! 🫶
 
Sibling Camp gives kids a space to be surrounded by people who understand their journey while also giving them the opportunity to simply have fun, feel supported, and be themselves.
 
Thank you to our incredible counselors, volunteers, medical staff, donors, and supporters who made this week possible.

HEY CAMPERS: Please join us in welcoming Amy Martin, RN, to the Smile-A-Mile family! 👏

Amy is serving as our Head Nurse for all Smile-A-Mile camps this summer, helping care for and support the incredible children and families we serve throughout the season.

Amy has been a pediatric nurse for over 25 years and a dedicated Smile-A-Mile volunteer for most of that time. We are so excited to have her in this more official role, representing an important continuity of care for our campers and families between camp sessions.
