Have old electronics, TVs, or small appliances you need to get rid of? The City of Birmingham’s next Household Drop-Off Event is happening tomorrow.

Residents can bring electronics, TVs, small appliances, and other items with a cord for proper disposal. Paper shredding will also be available.

* Until 1015 PM CDT.

* At 712 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Mountain Brook, Irondale, Fultondale, Tarrant, Five Points South, U.A.B.
