There appears to be a new scam being sent through text messaging from the "Secretary of State's Office." It states that you owe a fine and it is due in full by (a very short notice usually a day or two). It tells the person that if you do not pay, your vehicle's registration will be suspended, your driver's license will be suspended, and you will face a 35% late fee. It then lists a web address for you to click so you can pay your fine. DO NOT CLICK THE LINK! REPORT THE TEXT AS SPAM ON YOUR PHONE AND DELETE/BLOCK THE NUMBER. This is a scam, please do not fall for it.
