Beyond aesthetic upgrades such as new carpeting and furniture, these initiatives provide an opportunity to improve resource accessibility, support diverse learning styles through versatile study accommodations, and integrate innovative technologies throughout the spaces.

HistoryForge is a community-sourced digital mapping project hosted by Binghamton University Libraries. Community volunteers transcribe census records, which in turn get plotted onto an interactive, digital map.

University Archives fall 2026 exhibit "Design + Function: Creative Images in Archives" is now on display at Bartle Library North Reading Room.

"Design + Function" is an exhibit featuring visual works from the University Archives collections dated between the 1950s-90s. Featured items cover everything from fine illustration to the graphic arts, and our selection includes yearbooks, comics, student publications, event programs, logos, and costume design.
