May is National Pet Month. In celebration we will be doing a free pup cup with every 50/50 purchase. Bring your doggos by and grab yourself a treat from Hometown Heroes food truck. The brownies and other desserts have been extensively tested by the membership and found to be delicious.

Governor Kathy Hochul has declared a State of Emergency ahead of extreme cold and a major winter storm expected to impact New York from Friday through Monday.

The New York State Police are actively monitoring conditions and coordinating with state and local partners statewide. As the storm intensifies, extra patrols will be deployed, and specialized units and equipment are staged and ready to respond to weather-related emergencies and assist motorists.

Snowfall totals of 12–18 inches are possible in many regions
Snowfall rates may exceed 2 inches per hour
Dangerous cold and reduced visibility will make travel hazardous

NYSP urges the public to avoid non-essential travel during the storm. If you do have to travel, prepare your vehicle with emergency supplies including a flashlight with extra batteries, a small shovel and jumper cables.
