Affholder was additionally sentenced to 1 year of local imprisonment on each of the remaining charges, all to be served concurrently. Additionally, Affholderโs privileges to operate a motor vehicle in New York will be revoked.

During sentencing, Hon. Judge Cocchiola addressed Affholder directly as: "A selfish person driving under the influence of methamphetamines."
"The victims in this case showed tremendous courage by coming forward and sharing their victim impact statements. Their strength throughout this process is a testament to their resilience, and it is my hope that today's sentence brings them a measure of peace and closure. I also want to recognize the citizens who stepped in to help those injured on the scene before emergency services arrived, their swift action made a difference. Driving under the influence of drugs is not a mistake, it is a choice, and it is one that carries devastating consequences for innocent people and families. The Broome County District Attorney's Office will always stand with victims and pursue the accountability they deserve. ๐๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ญ ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ง๐๐ฒ ๐
