We want to give a HUGE thank you to Wegmans in Johnson City for the much needed donation of bottled water.

Having bottled water available for our community guests has been a significant need, and when we shared that need, Donna and the Wegmans team were willing to step in and help us meet it.

We are so grateful for community partners who see a need and respond with generosity and care. Every bottle of water will make a difference for the individuals and families we have the privilege of serving.

Dear Friends:

As we prepare for our departure, we just wanted to extend our heartfelt love and appreciation to our community. The last seven years have been some of the best in our time as Salvation Army officers. We have met so many incredible people. We have had the privilege to learn from and work alongside some great community organizations and leaders. We’ve navigated many challenges and were able to, with the help of incredible community partners, renovate a new community center that is currently serving the needs of our community well. Most importantly, we have been able to know and love people. We’ve loved and served people from all walks of life, who have beautiful stories to tell. We are deeply impacted and even changed by our time here in Binghamton. This community is imprinted on our hearts. We now entrust to you Captain Jennifer Burke, who will arrive in five days time. Stop into our 86 Walnut St. location, beginning on July 1st, to meet her and encourage her as she starts her appointment here. We want her to instantly feel at home. She is amazing and will do wonderfully well working alongside everyone to love and serve our neighbors. The mission keeps moving forward and The Salvation Army will continue to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs in His name without discrimination. Goodbye,for now, Binghamton. Announcement, announcement, announcement!!! We are so excited to share that we have completed our health inspection and have our health permit. Community meals will begin operation on Thursday, June 11, 2026. The hours are as follows:

Every
Thursday: 4-5pm
Friday: 4-5pm
Saturday: 4-5pm
Sunday: 4-5pm
Monday: 4-5pm

86 Walnut St. Binghamton. Enter dining room through the back entrance please.

***Breakfast bags will be available at each dinner meal. Bags will also be available for Tuesday and Wednesday on Monday evenings.

Please share so we can reach as many people as possible.
