Thinking about retirement or already enjoying it? Check out the Retirement Planning Seminar on Tuesday, September 15th, to learn about the important decisions that
can help you prepare for a secure and fulfilling retirement. Local professionals will present on topics including legal planning, retirement accounts, Social Security, and Medicare.

Those who wish are invited to enjoy a meal before the seminar at the Broome West Senior Center beginning at 4PM. Presentations to follow.

For a dinner reservation, please call the center at 607-785-1777 by noon on Monday, the 14th. For the meal, a suggested voluntary contribution of $4.00 is requested for those 60+ and their spouse of any age. Those under age 60 pay $5.00.

No reservations are required for the presentation. Whether you're preparing for retirement or simply looking for helpful resources to help you navigate this stage of life, this seminar offers valuable information, and the opportunity to have your questions answered.

The class will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 – 12PM. It is an 8-week evidence-based program that features Sun-Style Tai Chi movements. These movements have been proven to prevent falls and are particularly beneficial to those with arthritis.

Binghamton Porchfest | Sunday, August 30 from 12–7pm

Binghamton’s West Side transforms into a neighborhood-wide stage for the 11th Annual Porchfest! More than 150 bands and performers will bring music of every style to 70 porches throughout the Abel Bennett Historic Tract.

Don't forget to check out the Kids Village and the Artisan Market, hosted at Recreation Park from 11am–2pm. Families can stop by for activities, games, and crafts, explore local makers and vendors, and then head out to the porches for an afternoon of music!

Fun and Games is a social connections group for seniors 60+. The group meets on Friday afternoons in the church hall for cards, table games and conversations.
