Students can begin arriving for breakfast at 7:15 on Thursday, September 10th. Our day officially begins at 7:50. ⏰

Garden Growers Club Update! 🍅🥬🍉

Teachers who lead the Garden Growers Club recently harvested fresh watermelon, tomatoes, kale, and yellow summer squash from the garden at Woodrow Wilson in the Binghamton City School District to share with our Garden Growers Club students!

This spring, students helped plant and care for many of the fruits and vegetables. Now, they get to enjoy the fruits of their hard work with their families throughout the summer! 🌞

Farm to School is a partnership between Rock on Café, Food and Health Network, and Cornell Cooperative Extension-Broome County.

We can’t wait to welcome our students and families to Wilson for our Welcome Back event Tuesday, August 25th from 3:30-5:30!!!

There will be sweet treats, building tours, and opportunities to connect with our school family. This event is for all students who will be attending Wilson this school year 💙🤍❤️

Last Friday, eight Wilson Elementary Band students performed the National Anthem at a Binghamton Rumble Ponies game with about 80 students from Binghamton's elementary schools. They did an awesome job!

🏅 | This week, Binghamton Rotary honored its students of the year! Today, our first grade students had the opportunity to learn about community helpers during a special visit from local Deputy Schoonover from the Broome County Sherrifs Office and Officer Mooney from the Binghamton Police Department. Students enjoyed hearing about the important roles law enforcement officers play in helping our community and keeping everyone safe each day. They also had the chance to ask questions and learn more about the many ways officers serve and protect others and our community! Thank you to our special guests for taking the time to visit and create such a fun and educational experience for our students!

What a great Outdoor Learning Day for our 5th graders! Thank you to Binghamton University’s Environmental Studies students for planning this hands on experience! A good time was had by all!
