For those wanting to know, Captain French's celebration of life will be taking place this Saturday the 11th, at Giberson Funeral Home on River Street in Bingham, starting at 1:00p.m.. There will be a gathering for all after the service at The Moscow Elementary School , on Canada Road (Rte 201), in Moscow.

It is with a very heavy heart that Bingham Fire Department must announce the loss of one of our own.

Captain Don French was driving home, on Main Street in Bingham, when he had a medical event. His vehicle left the road and came to rest against a home. Even though the EMTs and fire personell got there swiftly, He could not be revived.

Don was a very dedicated firefighter and made every call that he was capable of making. He was our Captain of the Hose and made sure we always had a good water supply, and hose that could carry it. Don was a huge part of our department. He will be greatly missed, BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.

We pray for peace for his family through this very difficult time.

We will miss you, Captain. We will continue to answer the calls, knowing that you are still there with us. Rest in peace, Don. Thank you for your dedicated service to our department.

It is with a very Heavy heart that Bingham Fire Department regrets to announce the passing of one of our own.

Alan C. "Roscoe" Hensley went to be with his Dad, and other family and friends, in the house of the Lord.

Roscoe was a member of our Department since 1998 and served in many roles, Including Assistant Chief. He was a very skilled firefighter, and led many attacks and extrications. He was always the first to lend anyone in our community a helping hand.

Our Department, and our Community will miss him dearly.

Rest Easy, my brother , my friend. We will continue protecting our community, though it will be a little harder to do without you.
