Job Description:
• Currently seeking a Coding Supervisor who is responsible for the coding area.
• The Supervisor plans and coordinates the daily operations, supervises remote and on-site coders while monitoring quality.
• Is responsible for developing and updating departmental coding guidelines to assure appropriate and consistent coding.
• Provides education and knowledge for coding staff.
Responsibilities Include:
• Reviews and interprets medical record information to accurately assign codes.
• Working knowledge of DRG and APC appropriately utilizing encoder software and or coding reference books.
• Responsible for understanding and accurately applying coding clinic guidelines.
• Abstract codes and clinical information utilizing the clintrac computer system based on interpretation and collection of written documentation from inpatient and or outpatient medical records.
• Identifies patterns of recurring problems on the bill hold report and brings to the attention of the director.
• Assists with daily smart reviews.
• Provides training and education as well as monitoring productivity and staff of the coding area.
• Works collaboratively with co-workers and physicians to ensure optimal performance within the department and organization while providing management support.
• Ensures a 95.5% coding accuracy rate.
• Effectively directs the documentation related aspects and physician related aspects of the DNFC process, to include the Revenue Cycle Process for an average

Good Afternoon!

I just got a TRAVEL opportunity in HAWAII ! ! ! The contract is long term, 16 weeks to 1+ years.

I am working with a hospital that is looking for 2 Inpatient Hospital Coders.

ALL expenses are paid for which include a $40 per day food stipend, $2,000 per month towards rent, as well as flights!

The pay is somewhere around $35 per hour. This position would be great for anyone with experience that is interested in working on the beach. Please pass the word around and let me know if you have any interest.
