There are few forces on Earth more powerful than a crossing guard stepping into the street in high vis granting protection to students and family alike with a handheld stop sign~🚸🛑

A quick refresher for everyone behind the wheel this back-to-school season🦺
1. Slow down~ School zones drop to school zone mph during drop-off and pick-up hours.
2. Extra eyes on the road, zero eyes on phones please~
3. Respect the sign~ When that stop paddle goes up, full stop until every student and crossing guard is safely back on the sidewalk.

Let's keep the morning commute stress-free and safe for everyone. Huge shoutout to the crossing guards holding down the crosswalks every single day!✨

The trails will need to be briefly 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝟯–𝟰 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 after the slurry seal is applied while the surface sets.

Tonight is the night 🗑️ The 1st Garbage Service Update Community Meeting is happening at 6 pm tonight, Tuesday, 9/1, at 📍 City Council Chambers in City Hall.

Come learn more about the upcoming changes, what they mean for residents, and what options are available for extra garbage. City staff will be there to answer questions and hear community concerns directly. 😊
