Worked on a very cool tree yesterday! This pine was at least 200 years old but is starting to split after that major windstorm. The client was willing to try some weight reduction pruning and an 8 ton cable. We're rooting for this beast of a Ponderosa!

Worked on some awesome Arbor Day volunteer projects last Friday! In Kalispell, we hauled 3rd graders up on a rope system we set up on a Horse chestnut at Lawrence Park for the City's Arbor Day celebration (even got Alec's grandma up in the tree!). In Bigfork, we pruned and cleared a couple of viewpoints up at their new Harrell Forest. And finally in Columbia Falls, we pruned some trees at Marantette Park. We appreciate all the people that helped plan these projects and hope our volunteering benefits those who use these parks as well as the kids who got to experience climbing. We look forward to more cool projects next Arbor Day!

We continuously invest in equipment to preserve our employees’ health and to bring efficiencies to our business and therefore clients.

This clip shows a mini skid steer loading a large birch log into our most capable chipper. We’re “broadcasting” the chips per the client’s wish. These chips, or mulch, will improve the soil health and hold in moisture on this hot, dry summer, west facing slope along Flathead Lake.
