Today, the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office hosted a picnic to help celebrate Corrections Officer and Police weeks with local first responders. It was a nice day for everyone to catch up and have some conversations.

Congratulations on their re-opening and appreciation to our Big Rapids Walmart for their generous donation of $4,000 to our local Shop with a Hero event that takes place in December. The Shop with a Hero allows local first responders and Walmart to give back to families in our community during the holiday season.

The Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office appreciates Walmart and its staff giving back to the community in the caring manner that they do.
