📚🥚 What a Fantastic Afternoon at Big Pine Academy! 🥚📚
Our Open House was filled with excitement, learning, and lots of smiles!
Families began the afternoon with classroom scavenger hunts, giving our students the opportunity to proudly showcase their classrooms and all the amazing learning that takes place each day. It was wonderful to see students eagerly leading their parents through the activities and sharing their accomplishments.
The excitement continued with our school-wide Egg Drop Challenge for Kindergarten through 5th grade! Students were given a set of supplies and tasked with designing and building a protective compartment for their egg. After an initial trial run, they analyzed their results, made improvements to their designs, and tweaked their creations before the final egg drop. The creativity, problem-solving, and perseverance displayed by our students were truly impressive!
A special thank you to Ms. Humphrey for working with our students on this engaging STEM activity and helping make the Egg Drop Challenge such a memorable learning experience.
The egg drop turned out to be one of the most exciting events for both students and parents. Cheers, laughter, and anticipation filled the air as each grade level took their turn testing their designs.
To top off a wonderful evening, families enjoyed shopping together at our Book Fair and exploring new books to take home.
Thank you to our incredible students, families, and staff for making this event such a success. We are so proud of our Big Pine Academy community and the enthusiasm everyone brings to learning each day.
