Bexley Citizens Police Academy and Alumni Association Bexley Citizens Police Academy offers workshops that expose attendees to the various situations our police face daily.

Bexley Citizens Police Academy (BCPA) is held once a year, beginning in September, for 10-12 weeks at the Bexley Police Department. The BCPA workshops expose enrolled citizens to various situations that our police force face daily. It shows the citizen the split decisions they must make, procedures they must follow, facilities and equipment, and much more. The Bexley Citizens Police Academy Alumni

Association (BCPAAA) meets once a month (every 3RD THURSDAY) at 6:30pm at the Bexley Police Department. The BCPAAA's mission is to SUPPORT our police and first responders, and to generate general citizens knowledge of what these individuals do for us; to OFFER scholarships to children of police officers, especially those whose lives were lost in the line of duty; to FUNDRAISER so as to build financial bank to provide scholarships; to ASSIST the Bexley Police Department with specific events:
Road Marshalls for the Columbus Marathon
Conduct Safety Town at each elementary school
Assist with drug Take Back Day
Aide OMVI checks
And more
