At the beginning of August, staff had the opportunity to once again visit with Citrus County School District teachers and staff at their annual Welcome Back Teachers event, hosted by the Citrus County Education Foundation. This year, we brought along a basket of goodies for teachers and staff to put their names in for.

Today, our PR Coordinator, Taylor, had the chance to deliver the basket to our winner: Ms. Manz from Homosassa Elementary School! Congratulations Ms. Manz - we hope that you take some time this weekend to enjoy a book for yourself!!

🐾📚 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆! 🐶

Today we’re celebrating some of our most lovable volunteers, the amazing dogs of 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀! These four-legged friends bring plenty of tail wags, smiles, and encouragement to the library, and we’re so lucky to have them as part of our library family.

Even better, Happy Tails is now available at 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀! Young readers can practice their reading skills by sharing a story with a new furry friend because we know that sometimes the best audience has four paws and a wagging tail. ❤️

And we can't forget a huge round of 𝘢-𝘱𝘢𝘸𝘴 for our Happy Tails volunteers and their incredible handlers! Thank you for helping make the library a place where everyone, and every good dog, feels welcome. 🐕📖

All ages are welcome!

📅 C4Con is free and family-friendly, happening September 12 at the Homosassa Public Library. The Junior Division (12 & under) starts at 11:00 AM, and the General Division (13+) at 11:30 AM.
