The Beulah Fire Protection and Ambulance District and the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office along with other first responder agencies within Pueblo County will be conducting an evacuation preparedness drill on Friday, June 27, 2025.
The Drill will start at approximately 10:00 am and should conclude no later than 12:30 pm. We are asking for citizens to participate in this drill to help simulate the realities and obstacles that we could face in a real-world event so we can sharpen our skills in preparedness for assisting our citizens when an emergency occurs.
If you are able to participate you can register for this drill by going to the Pueblo County Sheriff's website following this link https://bit.ly/PuebloCountyEvacExercise2025
If you choose not to participate in this drill, your residence and any other notification methods that you may currently have linked to your address for emergency notifications will still receive the DRILL EVACUATION notification on the day of the drill. The message will be prefaced with THIS IS A DRILL. If you are participating in the drill this will be the start of the exercise for you.
If you are participating, we ask that you grab the items you normally would if you received an evacuation order and proceed to the evacuation center at the Good Pasture Barn. At the barn more information will disseminated on evacuation preparedness and lunch will be served for all participants.
