Dotson Cabin has been awarded the 2025 PCHS Historic Preservation Award!

"Pueblo County Historical Society presents our Preservation Awards in recognition of those individuals or groups that have made a significant contribution to furthering the goal of preserving our local history. The Dotson Cabin Preservation League's efforts to successfully relocate and renovate the historic Peter Dotson cabin exemplifies both the need for and the goals of historic
preservation. After the discovery of the cabin, The local group's commitment to the hard work of fundraising, relocating and restoring the cabin is truly inspirational. They are being recognized for their dedication and vital contribution to saving this noteworthy and unique piece of our local history."

The Dotson Cabin gallery will have a "Celebrate Beulah" opening reception on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. Come see the amazing talent of our Beulah artists and take home a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Visit the Dotson Cabin from 6-8 for a reception with Eric Bakke and other participating artists, after the Beulah School event!

The Fine Art Exhibition will be in the Schoolhouse again this year. Please join us at the opening reception on Friday August 2nd, 4-6 pm to meet the artists, the show judge, and Featured Artist Eric Lars Bakke. Light refreshments will be served. This is the first event of the busy festival weekend!
