👑 Queen Nova has landed! Don't let her tiny size fool you, she's got sass for days and can dish it out just as well as she takes it! This little love bug 🐞 is all about snuggles, kisses, and getting her smooch 💋on (she'll even stand on her hind legs to get picked up, talk about determination!). Staff loves her, she loves staff, and brotherly love is her jam (literally, they're litter mates!). Watching her chase toys and jump after bro is the best entertainment ever! Oh, and btw, we're open Mon-Fri: 8:00am-4:00pm, Sat-Sun: 10:00am-3:00pm. Come for the laughs, stay for the snuggles! 😉🐾

💙Adopted 10/13/26💙
Meet Sonny: the ultimate cuddle bug who's obsessed with snuggles and kisses from the staff (don't worry, he's not too proud to beg)! This charmer is a total sweetpea and has stolen the hearts of everyone at the shelter. He's all caught up on his shots, neutered, and head over paws in love with his sis (his partner in crime and litter mate). When he's not busy being adorable, Sonny loves to get his play on - think climbing, racing, and toys galore! And, let's be real, he's a total sucker for those tiny mice toys that zoom across the floor 🐭😂 Mon - Fri: 8:00am - 4:00pm ~ Sat - Sun: 10:00am - 3:00pm (231) 882-9505

💙 Adopted together 10/14/26💙
Warning: extreme cuteness overload ahead! 🐾💕 Meet Winnie and Pablo, the ultimate duo of a chunky kitty and a sleek one! Both 11 months young and already pros at snuggling, these BFFs are like two peas in a pod (but, you know, furrier). Pablo has the chunky vibes, Winnie has the stylish swag, and together they're an unstoppable force of kisses, love and couch-hogging. If you're ready for a double dose of goofballery and have a couch that can handle these extra chunks, these two are looking for their forever home 🏠. Oh, and they're neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, because responsible pet parenting is a must! 😂

🐾 Together, we can make a difference in the lives of furry friends at Benzie County Animal Shelter! 🐶 The team is dedicated to providing a nutritious start to each day, and your support can help make it happen. Our supply of wet canned dog food is running low, but with your help, we can restock and bring joy to the dogs' morning meals. Please consider donating through our Amazon list or dropping off at the shelter - even after hours, our donation box is always available! 🙏 A special note: some of our furry friends have sensitivities to chicken, so your thoughtfulness in selecting alternative options is appreciated. Take a peek at what's currently on the menu and let's work together to bring more variety and love to the shelter! 📸 If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to our staff at (231) 882-9505

🐕‍🦺Meet Ho**er. Ho**er is a 3-year-old Mastiff mix. He loves to snuggle and relax together. He loves plenty of pets and scratches. He is looking for a forever home to call his own. He is not much for toys but loves to spend time with his people. He is very energetic and loves to go for walks and investigate the outdoors. We are unsure how he is with cats, but he does well with the other shelter dogs through the fence. Ho**er is around 70 pounds and is a large dog. Ho**er is now available for adoption at the Benzie County Animal Shelter. If you are interested in meeting Ho**er, please come in for a meet and greet. He would love to meet some new people, hopefully a family to call his own. He has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. Our hours are Mon-Fri 8 AM - 4 PM and Sat - Sun 10 AM - 3 PM. Call us at (231)882-9505 to learn more.🦮
