⚠️ The drive-through will temporarily be closed starting TODAY, June 18, for concrete repair with a tentative reopening date of June 20. Both the automated materials return and the pickup window will be affected. Please return materials to the blue outdoor returns or, during library hours, the indoor lobby drop. Holds should be picked up inside the library. If you have mobility issues and need assistance, please call the library at (563) 344-4180 for curbside pickup.

We have so many free, fun events going on all summer with our Summer Reading Program. Up next week, we have an Animal Crossing Meet-Up! If you're looking for different flowers, fruits, or recipes, bring your Switch, your copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and share your island with other players!

This event is free and open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult to participate. Next week's meet-up is Wednesday, June 24, 6-7:30 p.m. Can't make it? We'll have a second meet-up on July 22!

Curious about the game but haven't played? Check it our from the library! We have various Switch games available for checkout so you can test them out before buying.

A dinosaur is loose in the library! 😲

🦖 Adventure awaits in a humorous, action-packed exploration of dinosaurs based on Kelly Crull's new book from National Geographic Kids, "The Chick-O-Saurus." Crull will read his book and take us on an exciting journey in this surprising STEM story time with interactive activities. 📖

This free event is on Tuesday, June 23, at 1 p.m.

🎶 Get ready to groove with the Crooked Cactus Band this week! 🎺 Enjoy a free night of electrifying Latin and Classic Rock fusion that’s been captivating the Quad Cities for over 20 years. With a dynamic trumpet section and a unique blend of Mexican and American music, this band is sure to get you dancing!

🚜 Check out a variety of trucks and tractors next Saturday—including vintage tractors from the Deer Valley Collectors group! You might even spot a Bettendorf Fire Department fire truck and a Bettendorf Police Department police car. Find us in Faye’s Field (right across from the library) on Saturday, June 20, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. This free event is open to all ages and geared toward children.

This summer, we are bringing the library to you! Join us every other week for story time at one of Bettendorf's parks. Story time will include a story, songs, and a fun outdoor activity. On Tuesday, June 16, we'll be at Edgewood Park at 10 a.m. For an activity, we'll have bubbles!
