Today marks 9 years since our brother Billy Tolley lost his life in the line of duty while serving with TL135 of the FDNY.

Billy is remembered for his kindness, great levels of knowledge and experience, and always willing to help others.

We ask to always remember and honor Billy for his sacrifice.

Continue watching over us from the floor above, brother.

On Wednesday at 1631 hrs, Ladder 3 responded to the for a working house fire. The truck arrived first due and conducted searches and overhaul of the house. A job well done by all the crews there making a quick knock.

Early yesterday morning at 0601 hrs, Ladder 3 responded to the Oyster Bay fire department for a fire in a school building. The truck assisted with exterior operations and overhaul.

Today at the company’s training, we trained on cold water and ice rescue. With all of the snow and ice this year, the company took full advantage of using our equipment.

Over the weekend, Ladder 3 had the privilege of bringing Santa around town. A tradition that we have done for decades. We would also like to thank all of the residents of Bethpage for the toys donated!

On Sunday December 14, the Bethpage Fire Department responded to a working house fire. Both Ladder 3 and Rescue 3 responded to the call. Ladder 3 conducted searches on the fire floor and both units provided extensive overhaul. A job well done by the department and mutual aid companies.

Every year Ladder Company 3 hosts their Country Fest Fundraiser and we donate a portion of the proceeds to another charity. This year our partner organization was Paws of War, a great organization helping veterans, first responders, and pups. We are proud to have donated $1,000 to them to help continue their incredible programs!

24 years ago today,
We lost one of our own on this tragic day, Commissioner and Ex Captain Brian C. Hickey. Brian was the Captain of Rescue Company 4 in the FDNY, working a mutual for Rescue 3 on September 11th, 2001

Brian, the men of Ladder 3 and the rest of Bethpage Fire Department are still using your wealth of firefighting knowledge today. We hope we make you proud and we miss you dearly.

Last night at 0055 hrs, Ladder 3 was toned out for a mutual aid to the for a working fire. The truck arrived second due and conducted searches and overhaul. The entire operation was about 2 hours. A job well done by all that were there.
