SandCastle Daycare and Learning Center a licensed child care facility located in Bethpage, is looking for teachers and teacher assistants to join our staff. Candidates must have experience working with children. Must possess qualities such as being dependable, patient, loving and a team player. Full and part time hours are available. Qualified Teacher Assistants for our classrooms. Position to start September 2022. Must have an Associates/Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field to be an Assistant Teacher. CDA is also acceptable.

Year round Position. Monday - Friday 8 am - 5:00pm

Must have previous experience working with children in a daycare setting.

Must be a Team Player and have a passion for teaching young children.

General Duties:

Create and implement developmentally appropriate classroom setting

Daily planning and ex*****on of all classroom and outdoor activities

Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts

Responsible for the welfare, health and safety of the children in assigned group

Supervision of children at all times

Maintain a clean and well-organized classroom

Encouraging creative and constructive use of materials in classroom

Uphold Center quality standards

Communicate regularly with parents, including mobile apps and personal discussions

Follow all safety and health rules
