Northampton County - April 13, 2026

Northampton County to Accept Applications for 2026 Grow NORCO Program Grants

WHO: Tara Zrinski and Department of Community and Economic Development

WHAT: 2026 Grow NORCO Program Grants for nonprofits and municipalities

WHEN: Applications open April 20 – May 29, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

[Northampton County, PA] – County Executive Tara Zrinski and the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) announce that the County of Northampton will accept applications for the 2026 Grow NORCO Program from April 20 until 4:00 p.m. on May 29, 2026.

Grow NORCO grants are available to a federally registered nonprofit entity, 501(C)(3) or 501(C)(4) or a municipal entity located within Northampton County. Grant funds can be used for Capital Improvements, Quality of Life Initiatives, Façade Programs, Operations and Community Planning. Eligible organizations can apply for up to $50,000.

Awards will be announced in December 2026 and all projects must be completed by December 31, 2027.

Interested organizations can apply by visiting the Northampton County Participant Portal hosted by Neighborly Software at: https://portal.neighborlysoftware.com/NORTHAMPTONCOUNTYPA/participant

Registration is required on the Participant Portal in order to apply.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
[Northampton County, PA]—During the Northampton County Festival on May 16, a a multi-charity 3K Community Charity Walk is planned through Louise Moore Park. This family-friendly event will be accessible to participants of all ages.
The primary goal of the 3K walk, located on the opposite side of the park from the festival, is to raise funds for nonprofits, with proceeds distributed proportionally based on the number of participants each organization attracts.
Participants can register for a team by emailing the County Department of Community and Economic Development at [email protected]. Registration fees will be set to cover costs and contribute to the fundraising goal.
Sponsorship packages will be sold to local businesses and organizations, offering branding opportunities on t-shirts, banners, and promotional materials.
The Community Charity Walk will be held at the Northampton County Festival at Louise Moore Park on May 16 from Noon-3:00 p.m. Registration and packet pickup begins at 11:30 a.m.
