Paul Miller’s Law is now active in Pennsylvania and aims to save lives by reducing distracted driving. This hands-free legislation prohibits holding your phone while operating a vehicle, including while driving, sitting at red lights, or stopped in traffic. Even just a moment of distraction can have life changing consequences on roadways.

The message can wait; arriving home safely is the priority.

🚨 FIRE SAFETY ALERT 🚨

Due to the dry weather conditions, the Bethlehem Township Volunteer Fire Company is urging all residents to use extreme caution when using an open fire at their residence to avoid fire spread.

Reminder that open burning is prohibited per Bethlehem Township Ordinance Chapter 101. An open fire may be used solely for the purpose of cooking food. Violators of this ordinance could have a run in with our friends at Bethlehem Township Police Dept and could be issued a fine of up to $300.

101-3{5} OPEN FIRE A fire in which any material is burned in the open or in a receptacle other than a furnace or incinerator.

House fire in Bethlehem Township GoFundMe:
On May 19, the Corwin family experienced a devastating house fire that turned their lives upside down. Julia and Scott Corwin, along with their two boys, Brady (13) and Luke (11), lost everything in the fire and are now facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding their home and lives.

In the midst of the chaos, Scott bravely ran into the burning house to save their beloved family dog, Brie -- a moment that reflects the love and courage this family carries even during unimaginable circumstances.

As they navigate the coming weeks and months, we are hoping to ease some financial burden for the Corwins. Donations will help provide essentials like clothing, pet supplies, temporary housing, food, school necessities, sporting equipment (the two boys excel in soccer), and support as they begin to rebuild.

If you are able to give, no matter the amount, it would mean so much to this extraordinary family. If you cannot donate, please share and keep the Corwins in your thoughts and prayers. They are members of the community, neighbors, friends to all and those lucky enough to know them.

Thank you for supporting Scott, Julia, Brady, Luke and Brie as they navigate during this incredibly unimaginable time. https://gofund.me/39bf39c7f
