Bethel Historical Firefighters Museum Tucked behind BFD Headquarters on South St is a hidden gem of history of the Bethel FD. Most items are privately owned, some have also been donated.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chief Clyde Finger. Clyde was a member for more than 70 years and chief in the early 70s. Rest easy sir we got it from here.

One of our own, Ira Pollack who served as a member of Bethel Fire, as well as an employee for The Town of Bethel Highway Dept was called to the top floor for duty this evening... He contributed quite a few items in the museum and the big things are the Fire Hydrants that were retired/replaced in front of the entrance. God called him home to early and we will miss him beyond belief. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends... Godspeed Ira.
