This evening at approximately 5:15 Stony Hill Fire & EMS responded to Route 6 for a two-car motor vehicle accident with rollover and possible extraction. All patients were out of the vehicle upon arrival and evaluated by EMS. Crews worked alongside Bethel Police to secure the scene and assist those involved.

On Monday night Stony Hill’s finest were back to business training at New Haven Fire School. Drilling hose line advancement, Ladders, search and rescue. Everyone enjoys nights at the fire school and getting to practice the real deal!

Tonight members are taking the time to wash Truck 4 and Rescue 2 for the Bridgewater Parade this Friday at 6:30!

Today, the members of the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Department were honored to fly the American flag in remembrance of Fallen Officer Cooper Whiteside. It is a privilege to pay tribute to a public servant who dedicated his life to protecting others. We extend our deepest condolences to Officer Whiteside’s family, friends, and fellow officers during this difficult time. May we never forget his service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to his community. Rest easy, Officer Whiteside. Your watch has ended, but your legacy will never be forgotten. #322 💙🖤

On Monday Stony Hill and Bethel Fire were requested mutual aid to Brookfield for a structure fire that started in the garage and partially damaged the house. Units on scene stood by as RIT, provided station coverage, provided additional water (there are no hydrants in the area), and covered a call for Brookfield.
